Global equity markets fell substantially during April 2022. Investor sentiment waned
amid the Russia-Ukraine conflict as its negative impact on the global supply chain
helped push prices higher. Oil prices finished slightly higher, as lower supply was
offset by expectations of falling demand and persistent lockdown restrictions in
China.
