Dave was born and raised in Kitchener, Ontario. He graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1982 with an Honours Bachelor of Mathematics degree, combined with a Business Administration Minor from Wilfred Laurier University. After almost 20 years with Nielsen Marketing Research as a Senior Analyst, progressing to an Information Technology Project Leader, he joined Freedom 55 Financial a Division of London Life as a Financial Security Advisor in late 2002. He is married with a million dollar family (son followed by a daughter) and is an avid sports fan, albeit only armchair now after many years of competition in the various racquet sports. In progressing through almost 20 years with London and now Canada Life, he has become more and more specialized in Group Benefits and Retirement/Estate Planning. His detailed focus on Cash Flow management, risk assessment and the maximization of TAX efficiencies has allowed him to provide a unique blend of services and ongoing support to his clients that mean so much to him. While still maintaining his affiliation with Canada Life, Dave recently changed his association from Freedom 55 Financial to Lazar Wealth Succession Strategies Inc. He is looking forward to working with a strong team of advisors and leveraging the experience and expertise with his clients.
